It turns out it's just some crappy Samsung phone with a different display so nobody can look over your shoulder in the elevator and read your WhatsApp messages. I knew the guy who was running that website as the head sysop back then. It was the biggest site during the World Cup 2006. The amount of traffic it had to handle broke every record up to that point, and the sysops had to come up with new tricks every single day just to keep it from crashing. Three years later he moved to Berlin and joined the company where I was working, and he told me all the stories. Super cool, sitting over coffee and smoking a cig while 30% of our company’s employees were getting fired. We had to stay outside that whole day so we wouldn’t have to deal with the drama, so we just went to a café. 🙂

Deleting notes on Nostr isn’t reliable, that’s for sure. If you can’t get rid of a note everywhere, it’s mostly the relay’s fault that doesn’t follow the spec precisely. Still, a client can do everything right and send those delete requests to as many relays as possible. #NoorNote sends delete requests to over 1400 relays now. There’s also a bulk delete add-on if you want to wipe more at once. It’s already on the web, other platforms coming in the next release. Jumu'ah mubarak!

Yeah, the addon list has gotten pretty long. And not everyone uses all of them. You can now drag your favorite ones around to reorder them and move them up to your favorite positions. (long-press in mobile phones)
