Live streams on #NoorNote are so cool. I would never visit zap.stream for that, but if it pops up in my timeline, I will check it out for a few minutes. View quoted note →

Twitter user: makes content, memes, AI slop videos. And gets nothing for it. Nostrich: takes it and posts it on Nostr. And earns some Sats with it. Twitter user is a ******* idiot. Don't be a Twitter user. Be a Nostrich!

That's the view I got to enjoy twice a day on my way to and from work in Istanbul. I lived in the European part and took the bus to the Asian part for work. And back at sunset. Just fantastic.

I always wonder how non-IT people imagine building a new version of software. Do they think you just press a button and the version is there or what? Or do they already know something about deployment flows? It's been too long for me to relate to that anymore.

I love everything about this musical collaboration between Los Angeles and Frankfurt am Main over the internet. I already like funk music and the talkbox since the 70s anyway. I think Roger Troutman from the Zapp Band was the first one to really use it well. I even met Roger Troutman once in Cologne, just like that on the street with his two bodyguards. And every funk band wishes for a solid brass section like that. And the way the keyboardist is going wild, he's really having fun. Simply awesome.

This @Muslim Bitcoin Summit really showed me personally just how much potential there is in the community. Everyone who was there is a real visionary, honestly. Don't tell yourself "but I don't have anything to show for it" ... just the fact that you were there and you're interested in those topics already shows what rare potential you have inside you. 99.95% of people out there have no idea what's even going on right now. YOU know. Some of us are already ahead, getting things done, and YOU will do something later, I'm totally sure of that. Everything and everyone in their own time. I'm really grateful to be part of it, and it motivates me even more to keep pushing full speed ahead. As long as Allah ﷻ allows it.

As I said before, there's a whole lot of hypocrisy and virtue signaling involved. Nobody cares about your coding skills, or rather, nobody pays extra for fancy code quality anymore. We're in the end times of the fiat era here. Most of those folks were already producing slop before the AI days and thought they were code ninjas. Have you worked in Agile? Yeah, see, that automatically leads to slop coming out, no matter how good your kung fu is. It's like if you go up against Mike Tyson with your traditional Shaolin kung fu. If he catches you just once, it's over for all your flailing around. View quoted note →
