Lol, that Kraken ad goes like: “Did you know Bitcoin went up more than 125% last year? You wanna get in, but it’s too complicated for you?” *[a bunch of math formulas flash in the background]* “... Kraken [BAM!]” That’s the kind of crowd Kraken is targeting, too lazy to actually learn about Bitcoin, but eager to grab those fiat profits. And of course, they don’t say a word about self-custody. Typical fiat investors.

You asked for it, I delivered: here’s the ebook of "The White Ram Lamb". You can download it right after checkout as a ZIP file that includes both the EPUB and PDF versions. (I tested it six times yesterday, but if something still goes wrong, just let me know.) Jumu'ah Mubarak! 🕌 View quoted note →

By the way, @Sedd's profile banner pic is awesome. Really cyberpunk-ish.

While some Muslims are still like "to hijra or not to hijra", we’re already thinking about how to expand the marketplace. View quoted note →

Riba literally kills growth, the growth for everybody. Except for a tiny handful of economic elites. The biggest factor in economic growth is people. And the more riba spreads through loans and debt, the fewer kids people end up having. Can you explain the harm from riba, like interest, any simpler than that? And don't let those climate fanatics feed you lines like "there are too many people" or "humans are the cancer of this planet." That's all bullshit. A landmass the size of Australia could house every single person. China alone could feed everybody on the planet. *Riba* is the cancer of this planet. And Bitcoin is sadly just a drop in the bucket. The effects of riba, using Turkey's yearly population growth rate as an example. image [Source: https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/turkey-population/] But what explains the birth rate going up between 2010 and 2018? After pulling together all the data: Turkey went through this phase from 2010 to 2016 with low government debt and moderate inflation, while the economy was growing strong. Then starting in 2017, things got way worse real fast because of growth funded by debt, loose money policies, and political meddling in the central bank, which all led to a major currency crisis in 2018. And ever since then, it's been a steep downhill slide, and life in Turkey has gotten tough again, which directly hits the birth rate too.
