The joined up thinking of Nostr is so refreshing. This exercise of claiming a feed, a completely open source feed, has really highlighted how overbearing and intrusive the big guns like Spotify, Amazon and Youtube are. Fountain and the podcast 2.0 movement stands out - the business model is fantastic. And along with other platforms like TuneIn and Pocketcast, they simply take an RSS feed and do what you would expect - add it to their library. Contrast that to the convolutions and intrusiveness of the big guns setting their own rules. The sooner they are irrelevant, the better.
