I wasn't even aware that Credit Suisse was finally imploding until just right now. Sometimes taking time away from social media and news dopamine overdose is good for you.

Silicon Valley Bank is another Lehman, make no mistake. They were the second largest bank failure in US history and everyone is exposed to them. The difference is the Fed learned from their mistake and has repeatedly said that allowing Lehman to fail was their biggest mistake. SVB will be bailed out, printer is coming.

The bottom line is people do not want to "loan the bank their money" People want a "digital safe" that they can hoard all of their wealth and transfer it to others with the swipe of a card or push of a button. Banks pretend to be this service but in times of crisis like these, the man behind the curtain is revealed and the public learns again that banks are not keeping your money in a safe and they are lending it out. The marker really wants something that is like Bitcoin - digital, bearer, and easily transferrable but ultimately they want the value to be stable against the dollar. It sounds like the normie public kind of wants a CBDC-like product unfortunately.

Here we have the "Head of Strategy and Communications" at Solana crying about the SVB failure. Didn't shitcoiners want to "end the banks" ??? image

How I sleep knowing 90% of my networth is in worthless, magic internet money while the "regulated and stable" financial system implodes around me. image

Go to your local bank branch and request to withdraw all your money. Be the change you want to see.

Its 2023 and banks are failing again. We learned nothing from 2008.
