Working on a new AI/ML project partly to learn but also to see if something interesting will arise from "scratch."
A missing piece this morning is that of a reward system. I don't know how to tell this thing what's good and what's bad programatically. Seems like the perfect time to "do things that don't scale" and execute the reward function myself. I figure I'll let it ask me after each step for ๐ or ๐. An app would be cool so it could just be taps but I'm a cli-guy so maybe I'll go with vim bindings.

This emerged from the studio a couple weeks ago. Circuit Rhythm + Microfreak.
Do you have an aesthetic or multiple? How would you describe it/them?
I seem to enjoy minimalism, well-defined process, environment as guide, reproducibility, and total chaos.
Was looking for plebs to follow on noswot.org and ran across @Steven Lubka whose interview with @Peter McCormack I remembered as good for some reason. So relistened to it during last night's run, which was again great, and then ordered Jodorowsky's Dune. Point is the broader interests of all you good people are what I'm here for.
Got a bit tired of the nostr echo chamber so unfollowed some popular accounts and used pleb mode on noswot.org to get more variety in my feed. Looking forward to seeing more diverse, less Bitcoin-focused content.
Guess I learned all I need to know about NIPs so added a note to the nip-index readme and unsubbed from the github watch.
Community notes on Twitter seem interesting. Supposedly publicly verifiable. Joined and will report experiences if notable.

I always look back fondly on this time of year for the little projects I get into.
Noswot is chillin' as the last few days I've gotten more interested in machine learning.
Made a template out of noswot for flask/uwsgi that I'll use for future prototypes

When my note successfully sends to all my relays.

Why does nostr.lol always timeout my notes but more importantly why is it still in my relay list? I feel like I've removed it before. Removing it again.
Nostr idea: Note rebroadcaster. Sends missing notes to your other relays.
By looking at your recent notes the service assembles a list of the relays you use. Each time it sees a new note it checks if any of your relays missed it and if so sends it to them. Could be a paid service. Could provide reports to you and to the community more broadly of what clients and relays are most reliable.

GM. Took a few days off nostr but with so much technical and social possibility it's hard to go much longer. Looking forward today to further work on noswot and nip-index.
Noswot is in that young/experimental state where it's more potential than usable. I mean you can probably find some new accounts to follow with it but what's exciting about it is envisioning a future where the town square can be truly global, yet filtered in a smart way by your social graph. High signal, low noise and all possible client-side. #weboftrust
Nip-index is my attempt to understand how nostr is developing on a protocol level. I've enjoyed being able to run mirror.sh and see, in a single commit, all merged changes across all the NIPs. Think I'm going to add the #nostrocket NIPs to the index to see how it all holds up when looking at multiple data sources.

Anyone got a glossary of nostr terms? Would you like one? #asknostr
Apple broken playlists in Music by adding a new song add flow that takes more steps and prioritizes song suggestions over what I'm trying to add. Are they trying to further monetize a paying customer? Thinking of buying all the CDs and running my own streaming server. #selfhosted
A friend is looking for a way to charge supporters (in the patreon sense) per post. I've seen various mentions of paywalls and zap gates and subscriptions but does any fit this sort of publication process? #asknostr
He thinks a guaranteed payout each time he presses post will be a good motivator to create more and better quality content.
