Went to see 2001 at Kino Valli in Pula (Croatia) last night. It’s an old Yugoslav era brutalist architecture fun house art theater now, right near the heart of the old town. It’s surreal to walk out of that theater and through the 4th c bc triumphal arch in the market around the corner. Especially after such a psychoactive film. “Real” has become quite relative.
