4 days into the nostr experience and here are my most prevalent thoughts so far:
1) I didnt realize how censored my other social media timelines were by the algorithms.
2) Zaps incentivize better content but are currently in a meme discovery phase.
3) 90 percent of the timeline is a safe echo chamber for bitcoiners.
4) Being here in early stages is a great way to build connections with people you respect but may not have the social power to reach on other platforms.
5) Government censorship has no idea this protocol exists, and if they do they don't know how to stop it.
6) As more specific relays come online innovation will flourish. Entertainment relays that crowd fund artists through zaps comes to mind.
7) The majority of shitcoins could just function as a nostr relay with lightning to monetize their function.
Cheers!
