I was today's years old when I learnt my dad actually had no formal education. (𝘖𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 - 𝘈𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘣𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘥 - 1987) My whole life I thought he had graduated in graphic design, although he could do anything that was artsy - quite literally anything. My mum said today during a catch up "He had no studies other than a short course in product design, but when he was passionate about something he would find the way to learn it. He was very very intelligent". My dad in his life was a professional DJ in the 80s, graphic and packaging designer for some of the most important food and furniture companies in Argentina and Spain, antiques reformer (including old paintings), builder, painter, crafter... Despite his strong impostors syndrome and how his life turned out, I guess he's still an example of how degrees aren't as necessary as passion is - even if courage and self-trust play a huge factor in any future. #Artstr

I'm gonna start using Nostr to note my dreams: I dreamt that a kid showed up at our house, he was already in the kitchen by the time we saw him, and he seemed to be 6/7 years old. He was wearing a long blue raincoat and a fishermen's hat. He started wondering why we weren't paying him attention, saying he had been there for a while, and when I asked him where he came from he said: - My dad sent me here. I asked: - Who is your dad? And he pulled out an empty pack of cheddar cheese and read a name out loud from the package. That was heart breaking. I asked him if he was sure that was his dad. And he said: - Yes look, his name is here, see? Then I asked him to say it again and he started reading it phonetically as kids start to learn at 4ish. So I asked him: - ...How old are you? Are you 5, maybe 6? And he apparently was 6. Basically if this wasn't weird enough I then said we'd give him some food and water and we'd have to take him to A CHARITY SHOP - what? Apparently in that universe different charity shops would refuge kids of different ages and animals etc. Anyhow, the kid was so so happy. Our house suddenly was a mansion full of toys so he was living his best life but was still sad to know he didn't know his past. Anyway as I was getting dressed, turns out the kid then transformed into a dog. A very very aggressive dog. I don't know if maybe my cat was bitting my hand as I was dreaming but the dog proper caught me and what was strange is that I could see the kid inside the dogs eyes. We managed to calmed him down and ended up taking him to a pets shelter. The end.
