From my latest drafts:
I started working in restaurants at the age of 20 after leaving my home country at 19, and by 22 I had become a restaurant manager. I worked another 7 years in the industry after that. Between 29 and 30, I was lucky to have not only a supportive family but also a partner who believed in my decision-making. That mattered when I quit my restaurant job in London, with nothing lined up, to focus on finding my first job in the HR field. After three months, I ultimately landed a HR assistant roleโฆ in the middle of being evicted from my house and potentially having to return to Spain or flee to Italy ๐
A year and a half later, 11 months ago, I had no choice but to leave that job. And life? It had recently taken a full turn. โForeversโ had shattered, and my heart felt so heavy that simply standing each day was hard enough. But I did it, I landed a HR manager role in the middle of the most painful and confusing heartbreak.
Sometimes we donโt give ourselves enough credit.
While I'm the proudest person of those around me and even strangers, Iโve never given my achievements and efforts the value they deserve.
Although my goal is still to reach a point where I donโt need a full-time job, I have to be proud of the career Iโve built. Proud of my steps, my growth, and everything Iโve learned along the way.
We all have different journeys, and two things can be true at the same time: you can dream of freedom while still working hard in the present to make it a reality. Iโll always encourage others to follow what feels true to them. Build a career through experience or studies if thatโs their wish - to start their own business, to graduate, to land their dream jobs, to study Bitcoin full-time. There isnโt a one-size-fits-all approach to growing up and growing old.
As for me, I dream of the day I have my little family - kids running around, my beautiful Mentuchito as old as he can possibly get ๐โโฌ, and a big dog. While Iโll definitely cherish as much time as I can with them all, I do believe I'll also choose to have a little part-time side hustle doing something I love, whatever that may be by then. Not necessarily because I'll have to, but because I enjoy it. I want our children to understand that meaning and joy can be found in many ways - through love, through resilience, through building something of your own, or through whatever journey feels right to them ๐
Thanks for attending my TEDtalk on #Nostr thoughts about #freedom and goals.

Yesterday I spent 1.5 hours just watching the hens. Observing them is mesmerising.
Current situation feels like history will repeat itself today ๐๐

I'd dare saying there is one "algorithm" none of us can escape from, and that's our mind ๐ง
What we focus on acts like inputs, shaping how we experience reality. If we constantly feed it thoughts of fear, loss, guilt or inadequacy, we'll only get more of the same.
But when we consciously lean into gratitude, compassion, and growth, we start to rewire the thoughts pattern.
Choose what you focus on ๐

Be mindful of self-fulfilling prophecies.
Some people decide on an ending in their minds and, without even noticing, take every step needed to make it real.
