AI looked slow for 50 years.
It wasn't stalling. It was compounding.
Slow at first - then vertical.
That's the S-curve.
We're on the steep part now.
Age of Abundance

A daily live show about the monetary transition from fiat to Bitcoin - AI deflation, energy abundance, and the restoration of humanity. Hosted by Ricky Zhang. Live weekdays at 10am PT / 1pm ET. Clips daily.
Michael Saylor didn't make $15 billion using ChatGPT.
He sold $15 billion of credit - a claim on future dollars, not value created.
Same trick the make-money-online crowd runs, at a billion times the scale.
Fiat makes those two things look identical.
If you think Bitcoin can be taken over:
In 2017 exchanges and miners tried to change the rules.
Anonymous node operators vetoed them.
No money, no power, no names - and the change died.
That's what a real check on power looks like.
It's 2026.
The first rung of the career ladder is gone.
The old system knows and isn't ashamed of it.
This generation has the most to gain from going around it.
A new Bitcoin block and a frontier AI model look nothing alike.
But they share the same shape.
Both take massive energy to create.
Both cost almost nothing to verify or use.
That gap is what abundance actually looks like.
Bad behavior doesn't need to be outlawed.
It just needs to stop paying.
Bitcoin makes cooperation the winning move.
Extraction gets selected out, generation by generation.
The people running big companies and states didn't get there on merit.
They passed soft tests. Tests for who'll go along.
Who'll turn the right blind eye, who can be pressured later.
That's what money printing selects for.
Merit was never the filter.
What people hate about Bitcoin is exactly why it works.
No one can print more of it.
No one can undo your mistake either.
You don't get one without the other.
The impulse to delegate to a human being does not survive AI.
The whole contract goes with it. Tell me what to do, pay me, repeat.
What replaces it isn't unemployment.
It's people voluntarily coming together to build more than they could alone.
AI is driving the cost of making things toward zero.
The dollar is built to lose value every year.
That's why your paycheck feels smaller even as tech feels cheaper.
The real question is what stays scarce when everything becomes abundant.
Saturday: serving food at a low-income barbecue.
Sunday: a mansion with a private piano player.
Both rooms need sound money...
At the bottom, inflation is an INVISIBLE weight on every choice.
At the top, it's what stays scarce when AI makes it all cheap.
When AI drives the cost of things to zero, what stays scarce?
Bitcoin, by its math.
And the irreducibly human things.
What only people can give each other.
That's what we'll spend our lives on.
Bitcoiners:
Running a node while just holding coins signals nothing.
Miners weigh your node by what actually flows through it.
No transactions, no weight.
You have to earn and spend to be an economic actor.
Ricky steelmanning one side of the BIP-110 debate:
The way to keep fiat alive isn't to ban Bitcoin.
It's to fracture the sound money camp.
Every fork buys fiat more time.
Fork off and find out.
Fiat must expand forever.
Bitcoin can't be inflated or rewritten.
Stack endless paper claims on that finite base and the gap widens - until something visibly breaks.
There's no steady state where they share the world.
You feel something's off before you can explain it.
The feeling has a name: the money is broken.
Once you see that, you can't unsee it.
And a mind that's crossed that line doesn't cross back.
Saturday I was serving salad at a volunteer barbecue.
Between plates I kept refreshing mempool.space.
A defining Bitcoin fight was playing out - and no one else in the room knew.
That's what early looks like: a hundred people around you, none see it yet.
The fear of the tax man is inherited, not physics.
It's people all the way down.
Those people are on the same monetary journey you are.
Inherited fear can be set down.
If you think AI will grow us out of the debt:
GDP is the sum of all transactions.
AI makes things cheaper - toward free.
Free isn't a transaction. You can't add up what doesn't happen.
A Homo sapiens picked up the rare seashell.
A Neanderthal walked past it.
Noticing scarcity is what made us human.
It's the same instinct MONEY runs on.
