A daily live show about the monetary transition from fiat to Bitcoin - AI deflation, energy abundance, and the restoration of humanity. Hosted by Ricky Zhang. Live weekdays at 10am PT / 1pm ET. Clips daily.
It's easy to call Michael Saylor a sellout. Almost none of us have ever faced fiat incentives in the billions. Honest answer: I don't know what I'd do in that seat either. You can't out-willpower money this broken. You have to change the money.
What will people pay for when AI makes everything cheap? Not the joke. AI can write that. The human on stage who makes you feel alive. When machines do the rest, that becomes the whole economy.
"Just save in dollars" sounds responsible. It isn't. Every fiat currency in history has failed - given enough time. The default isn't safe, it's just slower.
This isn't a monetary collapse. It's humanity growing up. We spent our teenage years running up a 350 trillion dollar credit card bill... The bill comes due: that's what adulthood looks like. Fear is optional.
Nobody sat you down and told you to buy a house. The dollar loses 7% a year. So real estate became the least bad place to store your work. That wasn't ambition. It was a hedge against broken money.
Anyone can attack Bitcoin with LLMs. Anyone can also defend it with LLMs. Fiat defenders get paid from a money printer - Bitcoin defenders get paid in the money they're defending. That's why attacks only make it stronger.
Elon and Saylor keep telling the abundance story. AI drives the cost of everything toward zero... Neither will say the next part. The dollar needs inflation to stay solvent. Abundance on fiat rails ends in collapse.
Bitcoin was never really about money. Strip it down and it's about truth... Honesty, cooperation, agency, all words for the same thing. It's what people build when nobody's lying. Bitcoin was the stupid name for it.
Self-custody isn't civilization. It's the wall around it. The garden inside is civilization. No garden grows without walls that can't be cheated.
What destroys a society if no bomb ever falls? Slow decay from debt-based money. Communities hollow out. Families stop forming. The mechanism is math, not malice.
Fiat money is a cartel between the government and Wall Street. Half the country blames Wall Street... The other half blames the government. Both are half right - and that's exactly why nothing changes.
The one honest objection to the abundance thesis I'll concede: it's unfalsifiable. We've never lived it - no past evidence can disprove what hasn't happened yet. Every objection comes from a world we're leaving. Time is the only bridge.
Most people we call lazy aren't lazy. Fiat rewards one narrow path. Memorize, credential, get close to the money printer. Anyone off that path looks like a coaster. Change the money and most of them just look different.
Stop asking if Bitcoin survives AI. Ask what survives AI at all. Two things do: the laws of physics, and human self-interest. Bitcoin is the bridge between them. That's why it was never really a question.
Every money before Bitcoin needed a crisis to change. Bitcoin doesn't. Anyone running the software can force the question - no permission needed. The free market of money settles it. That's never existed before.
500 stolen bitcoin sit in one address. Every eye in bitcoin is watching it. The moment those coins move, the market prices in where they came from. Whoever moves them has to get past everyone watching.

A computer can't create real randomness. It just runs code, and code does the same thing every time. Your seed phrase looks random, but the process behind it might not be. That's why serious self-custody makes you roll dice.

Robots beat humans at every chess game. Millions still pay to watch humans play. That's the template for the AI age: some things are the point because a human did them. I wouldn't pay for jokes an AI wrote. Nobody will.

Why does banking have 378 acronyms today? In 1900 there were 15. Cole Walmsley graphed the growth... Every spike lines up with a crisis: Depression, Nixon shock, 2008, COVID. Complexity is what a system does when it's covering a hole.
The official inflation target is 2 percent. Real inflation is closer to 8 to 10. Technology should be lowering prices every year. Instead they keep climbing. Under this kind of money, staying the same is losing.
