A daily live show about the monetary transition from fiat to Bitcoin - AI deflation, energy abundance, and the restoration of humanity. Hosted by Ricky Zhang. Live weekdays at 10am PT / 1pm ET. Clips daily.
The official inflation target is 2 percent. Real inflation is closer to 8 to 10. Technology should be lowering prices every year. Instead they keep climbing. Under this kind of money, staying the same is losing.
Digital scarcity was a zero to one invention. Like the wheel, like fire, like the number zero. You invent it once, or not at all. Bitcoin invented it. Everything after is a copy of a solved problem.
"We're early" keeps you feeling like an outsider. I'm not early - I arrived on my own schedule. Not ahead of the world: on time with myself. Right where I need to be.
We won't agree on the problem. We won't agree on the solution. But Bitcoin ticks a new block every 10 minutes - same rules, same math, whether we watch or not. Something true to build on.
AI and Bitcoin look like the whole story. They aren't. The real story is much older: trust, reputation, community. We aren't inventing new human forces - we're building better tools for the oldest ones.
Bitcoin will outlive all of us. The Bitcoin you spend today will still be flowing 200 years from now: family to family, generation to generation. As long as there is energy in the world, it keeps moving. And energy is not going anywhere.
New tools compress lifetimes of work. William Shanks spent decades calculating pi by hand: he got to 700 digits. The calculator arrived and found the error at digit 528. 172 digits of a life, wrong. AI is running the same math on desks right now.
An 87-year math certainty fell in one weekend. The answer was simple. Finding it was the hard part... Debt-based money is 330 years old. If that one can fall, why not this one?
Most people don't reject Bitcoin. They assume the current system will keep going. That's not a conclusion. It's inertia. Every broken system looks fine until the day it isn't.
If you're still betting on elections to fix the economy: Money is superordinate to politics. When money is created through lending, power concentrates at the top - and politicians of every party gravitate toward that power. Fix the money, and the politics follows.
Gratitude isn't a mood you drift into. Your brain resets its baseline in weeks. Every problem you solved gets quietly forgotten. That's the design: the default is FORWARD, never grateful. Which is why you have to practice it on purpose.
The fiat system needs to keep printing to stay solvent. Bitcoin can't be printed. Eventually more dollars exist than there is Bitcoin to back them. 1933 confiscated the gold, 1971 defaulted on it - both were the math catching up.
Every trusted ledger eventually gets corrupted. It's not that we keep picking bad people... Give someone a small cheat no one can detect: most will take it. Small cheats compound for decades. That compounding is the world you were born into.
What if the Bitcoin transition causes too much pain? The pain is already the baseline: families choosing between heat and groceries. Delay doesn't spare anyone. It just extends what's already happening.
The left hates Bitcoin. But Bitcoin puts a cap on total wealth - the dollar never has. A trillionaire only exists because dollars can be printed forever. The people angriest at billionaires need Bitcoin the most.
Michael Saylor spent five years pointing people toward a better future. Now he's using that same trust to drag them backward. Reputation on Bitcoin works like the money: you can't print more. Spend it without earning it back - and it's gone.
It took 200 years for the US to hit $1 trillion in debt. Now it adds another trillion every 3 months. The curve is EXPONENTIAL. Nothing that moves this fast holds.
A fish market owner in Newfoundland tilted his scales to underpay his fishermen. A central banker does the same thing with money. Same incentive: win by position, not by work. If people can earn without working, they will. They always have.
New Bitcoin is created on a fixed schedule everyone can see. No one can print their way to more. Getting more means earning it from someone who chose to pay you. Concentrated now: distributing over time.
Our minds cap out at about 150 people. That was the whole village, for all of human history. Everything we call civilization is a workaround for that number. Money and institutions exist because trust doesn't scale past it.
