New money reaches the top first. The cost spreads out to everyone at the bottom as higher prices. The gains go to a few. The losses go to all of us. It's spread so thin nobody can name who took it.

You vote red or blue. The debt expands either way. Every campaign is a promise to spend more than the other side. Nobody runs on the form of money. That's the ONE lever that never makes the ballot.
