Finished the first level of Halo Campaign Evolved. Feels like they’re trying to be more “cinematic” with the cutscenes. Dramatic pauses between some dialogue and showing the Pillar of Autumn repelling borders. The female NPC controversy was a hitbox issue. #gamer #gaming #videogames #vidyagames #retrogaming

Noticing more of them flock cams on my drives these days. “Teh Waifu” says I’m too old to handle them like the “good ol’ days” plus she won’t pay my bail again & reminded me I lucked out given my history. Leave it to the new generation she says. 😪
Finished the bonus prequel mission in Halo Campaign Evolved. Basically just explains how the story was set up for the main game itself. Left it open for more side content. Didn’t care for “girl boss”. #gamer #gaming #videogames #vidyagames #retrogaming
In “Sherlock Homeboi”, Homeboi not only helps Watson find out who stole his property from his apartment, he also tracks down the thugs, beats them down & takes their cash from what was fenced. Actions he usually leaves to local law enforcement to handle vs himself. #writingcommunity

GOG working on GOG Galaxy support on Linux.
One of the reasons why I haven’t gotten into current gaming on Linux. Feels to much like how PC gaming was in the beginning: lots and LOTS of trial/error to get it to work. Nice that GOG is thing to make it easier. #gamer #gaming #videogames #vidyagames

Almost beat the prequel mission to Halo Campaign Evolved. It plays fine for the most part. Feels odd having the assault rifle being so powerful & the banter between Johnson & Master Chief feels jarring. Still on the fence with “girl boss”.

I return to a classic for that third time. Decided to do the prequel missions first since I’ve played the original game already on OG Xbox, Xbox 360 & Xbox One. One of “Teh Nephews” asked since it’s a newer NEWER version of the first Halo does it mean it’s the best? We shall see….
