I’ve been wondering about this for a bit. What exactly is the criteria for Orange Pill-ing someone ? I just chatted with someone this afternoon and introduced the concept of nostr to them. But who knows if they will actually check it out. And there’s no way to confirm it, that I know of. Now a couple months back, my friend told me about nostr and wrote down instructions for me and here I am. Does he get the credit for Orange Pill-ing me? #asknostr #plebchain

Just yesterday I checked out Iris. I was confused at first - I went to Iris and clicked “get started” … well, because I’d never been there before, and you have to get started in order to start doing stuff. Couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t see my posts here. Then I used Alby and was able to “log in” … it was so simple I couldn’t believe it. It didn’t occur to me that my “online id” on an email service and my nostr address are just different on a fundamental level.
