I love this time of year. We get to see the fruits of our labor. Swales filling with water, soaking deep into the soil in prep for our hot, humid, dry summer. The fruit trees are in their leap year and they are getting some great growth. We've left some canopy from the oaks, black locust, and smooth sumac. Its truly feeling like a food forest now. #permies #grownostr
