Warrior weekend was in full send. Was able to finish the lean to shop extension. I’ll probaly add a sealant to the cedar but all the hard parts are done. ✅ Pretty happy to have only spent about $300 on this build. We had another successful food forest tour with Organix Landscapes LLC We met some new people from the community and had a great time bouncing ideas off one another and enjoying snacks from the forest. My wife is cooler than yours. The front struts needed replaced on the van so I did one side while she watched and learned and she did the other side. We had no exp replacing struts but with a YT video and some AI questions we were able to knock out both sides in 2.5hrs. I’m very impressed with her. And 3 months later I was finally able to get the framing finished. So far the only cost has been some lag bolts of $25. I’ll have to buy some metal for the roofing material but I’d say we saved several thousand dollars by cutting these cedar trees down ourselves and getting them milled. #Foodforest is exploding this year. The growth is phenomenal with all the rain and compost teas. Here’s a little Apple tree #guild with comfrey, locust, strawberry, sweet potato, cosmos, vetch, elderberry. So many benefits in such a small space. #grownostr #permies #diversity
