Network racks before our gear goes in. The left side is dedicated to our distribution LAN cabling and our WAN equipment from the ISP. The right side rack is dedicated to any auxiliary equipment like AV, security, etc. We really like to standardize on these configurations ensuring each rack is labeled, each firewall, switch, UPS, and wall jack are labeled appropriately. This makes for quick isolation of problems when managing over 40 healthcare sites across the metro. Stay tuned for an after shot. The bumble bees are absolutely loving the milk thistle flowers. Idk how such an ugly looking plant can transform into such a beautiful flower. Did you know? Mullen going to seed. This was harvested and transplanted in the spring. It’s taking root quite nicely.

The tobacco is starting to flower. Had a few dried leaves from a harvest a couple weeks ago and rolled it up in some gum to chew on a bit. Talk about strong. It was almost like the first time trying chew tobacco. Boy did that buzz kick in. Will be trying to add some flavors soon with a bit of concentrated apple juice, pinch of salt and some molasses.

Had a busy day yesterday. Mowed 4 clients yards then, had another client needing some fresh paint on his house fascia and some door trim replaced. The Jake of All Trades continues to do work! Today I plan on finishing my fence gate and maybe have some time to split some more firewood. Hope y’all are having a great day!!

Been recycling used motor oil. Today I mixed it 50:50 with diesel to make a wood stain for the fence. Look at that color POP.

Finally got to harvest some tobacco. Homemade chew tobaccy here I come.

This episode takes me back to childhood. Finding random water holes out in the woods. Gonna have to go explore this weekend.
