I think the lesson that is best learned by this core / knots divide is that bitcoiners are not the enlightened philosophical cipher punks bringing pristine new money to the world. We are just people with the same biases, blind spots, and sinful nature trying our best to build a new money that is less susceptible to abuse and more resilient against state /corporate / authoritarian takeover. It’s messy. But worth it.
