A lot of chatter out there about Trump causing FUD to get lower interest rates for refinancing debt.. possible… but if the tarrifs do continue to cause inflation, the Fed cannot easily justify lowering the rates quickly just because of job losses. Once again we’re watching the continuous patch work of government and the fallout of irresponsible monetary and fiscal policy over the last 50 years.

Wealth inequality is a symptom. Poor monetary policy is the true disease of our nations.

Perhaps this is an unpopular opinion, but in reality, the inflation the last few years is on both Trump and Biden administrations. Two rounds of checks on Trump, a third from Biden, just adding fuel to the fire… Form your own opinion on the levels of necessity during Covid, but don’t ask me to believe that giving out money and telling most people to stay home was not going to always end with inflation.
