⚡️200 Sats for each helpful comment⚡️ I'm ditching the term "natural alignment" because it's got connotations to AI training 😂. I like "Primal Posture" but that's trademarked by the hungry girl Esther Gokhale. So which of these resonates more with you: 1. Optimal Posture "In optimal posture, blood and lymph flow unobstructed" 2. Aligned Posture "Aligned posture doesn't just look good, it feels good" 3. Balance "when we sit in balance, we can work on the compute for hours without neck or shoulder pain." 4. On the line of gravity "Remember, when lifting weights while on the line of gravity, you're developing muscle memory to keep you on the line for the rest of the day." 5. (other) ---SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS---

I'm becoming posture pilled about many things. One unexpected, yet not unsurprising area is longevity. Posture predicts lifespan in the elderly more than blood pressure and weight. Imagine the compression on blood flow, lymph, vital organs, and digestion from being stooped over. Then add the chronic stress and pain from muscles over taxed. 😢 Help the elderly in your life by learning a couple principals of aligned posture yourself, especially sitting. #posturepill #naturalalignment #posture #longevity

It's pretty easy to discover if you mouth breathe more than you think you do. During the day, just tape your mouth shut using medical tape for at least 10 minutes. Or just seal your lips. If you feel "different" at all, you're mouth breathing way more than you realize. That feeling is your body adapting in real time to new conditions like higher co2. I only share this with you because I realized it for myself. Mouth breathing (aka shallow breathing) impairs circulation and does lots of other crumby stuff. If you play sports or surf, shallow mouth breathing throughout the day negatively impacts your potential.

Found this oldie from the 50s. People have been surfing in Peru for a long time. I've been to Chicama before and man what a crazy wave. Went back in 2006 before development. I remember we ate at the same place every meal and the owner of our hostel was drugged out, and holed up in his room the entire time. Went with a couple buddies and had a blast especially hilarious when one of them got the shits! image

What comes first, those core muscles or skeletal alignment on the line of gravity? I believe it's the alignment coming first, which then creates a balanced, strong, relaxed core. The core then feeds into maintaining alignment, and back and forth ♾️. #naturalalignment #posture image

As far as time frames for planning go, 4 hours at a time and 4 years at a time seem like a good pair.

I walked on the beach with 30lbs on head today. No better way to work and balance the deep core and set a good pelvis position, which charges the glutes and legs. Lindy. image

If you have kids they should be chewing gun daily for jaw development. Start as soon as possible. Have seen significant pallet widening in my 4yo over the course of months. This is the time to mold faces, while their bones are still plastic. I like Falim or Bubble Yum for the simple ingredients and tough chewiness. @odell I know you've got some young ones.

Sitting shapes us the most because it's where we spend the most time. By sitting on the line (of gravity), we shape ourselves in accordance with nature. Observations of photo (1931): Butt cheeks back so she's sitting on pubic bone allows her to stack spine. No sway back (pushing chest out and up). Her shoulders and arms are relaxed. Spine is relaxed stacked. #naturalalignment #posture #nature #health #backpain #spine image

Body has a mind of its own. Getting back on the line (of gravity) proves this. It takes time to 'let go' when you're accustomed to fighting gravity, and there's nothing you can do to hurry it up except create the conditions for balance. Then wait. photo 1935 image

If I'm drinking at home I'm usually drinking these "small" wine soda things I make by fermenting pineapple scraps and a little honey. The wild fermentation happens naturally thanks to the bacteria and yeasts living on the fruit. After about 2-3 days it's slightly sour, slightly alcoholic (0.5-2%), slightly effervescent. Fermentation increases antioxidants by making them more bioavailable, plus the probiotics and acids mean it's healthy. Pineapple also contributes bromelain. This could never be sold in stores for various reasons and needs to be artisan made outside of an over-regulated country or just made at home. It stores in the fridge in air tight containers for weeks, and will continue to carbonate and ferment but slower. #fermentation #pineapple image
