When I saw this at
@BitBlockBoom in April, I walked out in tears, because I heard echoes of my story. I wanted to kill myself during COVID. I lost job, my car was stolen, and I had finally removed a person from my life who was stalking me for years. A wonderful person helped me to turn my life around and I will always be grateful for that. And also Bitcoin, while it didn't directly save my life, has certainly put my life on a positive and powerful trajectory. As Max Kaiser says, Bitcoin changes you. To be blunt, I never really fit in anywhere until I started hanging around with bitcoiners. It was a revelation such that I finally found my people and my tribe.
