Was at the local bookshop today and might have orange pilled an older couple perusing investment books. There happened to be a copy of The Bitcoin Standard on the shelf and I pointed it out and gave a thoughtful recommendation. They began flipping through for a lengthy amount of time while I was there.

What we saw Friday with the decoupling was just the start. It seemed short lived, but just watch what happens next.

I don’t get the reason bitcoin conferences exist. Don’t buy an overpriced ticket, just buy the bitcoin instead. It’s just a giant live podcast. From a networking standpoint are they just selling access? Do people get real connections when they buy those top tier passes?
