Recently, some days I feel like I don’t want to talk about Bitcoin anymore. Like ever. The past 5 years it’s all I have wanted to talk about. I never could have imagined the shift. I think my time here might be almost done.

Is there anything more painful than to be looked down upon by your own family? I feel like an idiot. I thought that the big #bitcoin news would be the moment it finally made sense. I can’t think of any other event in this timeline that could be better. It hurts so much. After years and years of grinding and throwing everything at this. Not just bitcoin, but more than a decade of building multiple sources of income, leaving my traditional career to follow my dream of being self employed and financially independent. My mom said nothing. My dad said nothing. My step dad said nothing. My sisters said nothing. My grandmother scowled at me. I am a grown man, with a family of my own, and I am so broken that I just want my parents to be proud of me. It feels like there is something wrong with me. It’s painful to know I may never experience that. No matter how hard I try. Someday when they pass on, I might be left forever with this feeling. I had typed up an entire message to my parents but then I deleted it and decided to talk into the void instead.

Hot take - Trump is not going to send the ~100k #bitcoin back to bitfinex. It’s not an American Company and it’s unclear the exchange handled restitution properly. Not what I think should happen, but what will happen. I’m sure there will be a lawsuit.
