While enjoying our view after a climb to the peak of a rocky hill/mountain, we saw this military helicopter doing exercises. If you zoom in towards the loafing shed, you'll see the helicopter just left of the shed. image

I've always been able to transfer as much money off of Strike as I wanted, to get it out of Strike and into my personal wallet. Today, it won't let me transfer off more than $25. What is going on? Is this just temporary? #strike #grownostr #Bitcoin

I was reading John Calvin's " Institutes of the Christian Religion" last night and in Volume 1, Chapter 8, Section 58 which was discussing how some people try to rank sins and treat some sins as not so bad. I read: "we have been commanded to 'love God with all our heart, with all our mind, and with all our soul'. Unless, then all the powers of the soul are intent on loving God, we have already abandoned obedience to the law. For the enemies who rise up in our conscience against his Kingdom and hinder his decrees prove that God's throne is not firmly established therein." This should remind us all that "there is none righteous, no not one", that we "all fall short of the glory of God" and that we can't earn our way into heaven by "good" works. Only Jesus is truly good and we rely on his goodness for our salvation and eternity. Whether we are Christians or not, our measure should always be the Bible and Jesus, not other people. Although we can always find someone worse than us, we can't even get close to the goodness of God. Thank God for his work of grace on the Cross. #grownostr #Christianity #Bible

Please pray for my family and particularly my youngest son. He is 16 and has Down Syndrome. He sometimes loses his temper and he is getting really strong. A week ago he lost it and was hitting all of us. Luckily his hitting was open handed, so, although it really hurt when he hit me upside the head, it didn't cause any real damage, but he could. When he gets into a mindless rage, he doesn't care what he damages or who he hurts. We are at a point that when I am trying to not hurt him and he doesn't care if he hurts me, I will lose every time. Pray for wisdom teaching and disciplining him. Pray that he would accept Jesus. Pray that he would have self control and not hurt anyone. So far the only people he hits are family, but if he hits someone else, he could wind up in jail for assault. I also worry that he could send one of us, most likely me, to the hospital. #prayerchain

Weeded 3 beds, planted 3 apple trees, 3 elderberry plants, 10 asparagus, and a bunch of seeds. My sons used my new woodchipper to chip enough mulch to mulch the apple trees. I am wiped out, but I got everything done, so I am ready for the coming week of rain.

I got 102 raspberry plants in the ground and I didn't get all of them I was given planted. I think I've gotten enough and I'm going to try to give away the rest. By the time I was done, I was worn out and getting eaten alive by mosquitos, so I didn't get a picture. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow. #grownostr #gardening

Spent the day getting stuff done. Finished digging the raspberry bed and waiting for my son to return with the raspberries. Got some weeding done (but not all I needed done). Moved my bunny kits into their new homes and weighed and sexed them (I think they were all female, but this is the first time I've ever sexed a bunny). I built a pseudo Johnson Su composter (with the help of my sons and husband and got it partially filled. My son did part of the filling while I was emptying our bunny droppings and threw in some sticks that I had intended to chip before adding, but I was worn out and didn't feel like digging the sticks out of the bunny droppings, so it will just take a bit longer to compost. I was trying to run water out to automatically add a little moisture since we have such a dry climate, but I found a quality hose that was long enough, but the connector had ripped off and a short, cheap hose that barely reached the edge of the composter, but put stress on the timer. I've got to get a new hose and maybe a replacement end so it will reach better. It was a very productive day, but I probably should have put on some sunscreen. Being out in the sun that long, this early in the season, is probably going to lead to a burn. It would be OK later in the season. I even got some decluttering done inside. #grownostr #gardening

I spent just short of an hour digging the grass out of a bed to plant some raspberries that a friend is giving me when she thins her bed. I need to dig about the same amount more before getting the raspberries tomorrow evening. I need to be smarter and do my digging in the cool of the morning and not the heat of the afternoon. The good news is that my teenage son offered a half day of garden work, so he will be going to dig up the raspberries, bring them home, and help me plant them. #grownostr #garden image

Where we are staying we get to see lots of wild life. The 2 elk wandered by last night during dinner and the turkeys wandered by this morning during breakfast. #grownostr #wyomiing #wildlife image
