Thoughts on a 'sex worker' NIPS? I think sex workers are the most consitently attacked and deplatformed population of people out there, from Craigslist to the recent Mastadon server shut down in Australia. I think Nostr needs an extension to accomplish this job, but I'm not sure of the specifics as I'm not a sex worker or customer. I presume some kind of web of trust reputation for customers and workers alike, to protect both sides from entrapment and enforcement actions. The reason I think this needs to be in Nostr itself is that any specific service or hosted database is going to get attacked and shut down and prosecuted. We need to put the reputation and whatever other details or components that sex workers desire in the decentralized messages and events themselves, and spread them out among multiple jurisdictions.

my #[0] post didn't get posted, so I think it's just a fancy UI, for now. Very cool looking, very cool way to explore global/tribal. What I had posted there was this: I'm nervous about clients that don't use relays directly. A migration from one client to another is alot more to ask than adding a relay, to keep connected to relays that permit unpopular speech. I would like a hybrid situation. I'd like a nostr.band or primal.net client to have global views and exploration while also using relays directly for the stuff they're good at. Posting, Following, DMs. Its easier to use a backend API and database to make a snappy professional app, but it does have externalities to the properties of Nostr as a protocol, the same way that Google's dominance of email does, for SMTP.
