Recent studies have highlighted the potential role of brown fat in inhibiting cancer growth by competing for glucose, a critical energy source for tumor cells. A 2022 study published in Nature found that cold-induced brown fat activation significantly reduced tumor growth in multiple cancer types, including colorectal, breast, and pancreatic cancers, by diverting glucose away from tumors. Patients with active brown fact show improved survival outcomes. We often blame modern carcinogenic chemicals for cancer. Not too many people blame modern climate controlled environments. If you are light-skinned from high-latitude cold-region ancestry, it probably matters even more. Maybe we should let ourselves get colder. As I write this, my house is at 15 C and I'm wearing a T-shirt.

PQ cryptography has all kinds of wild key sizes and signature sizes, some very large. For Mosaic I've been ruminating about multiple algorithms (in support of nostr backwards compatibility) and from that considering not storing keys or signatures in the records themselves, but rather just hashes of these. Then you look up the keys and the signature by their hash on a keyserver (also serving signatures). Self-hosters would run their own keyserver. Separating large keys saves data by not repeating them, but separating large signatures does not since every record has to have a distinct signature... but in PQ cryptography it is usually the signatures that are wildly large. So it unfortunately doesn't quite fit my idea.

It is likely that we will have a million or more deaths in Gaza very soon. It is unlikely that it can be stopped. Organ systems are shutting down. For most of us, all we could ever do was bring attention to the issue. So that is what we did. Let us all learn some hard lessons from this: 1) DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING that they tell you. Politicians don't speak truth, they seek only to manipulate you. Your country is NOT a noble country. ALL COUNTRIES are run by psychopaths. Operating below the radar and bypassing the "system" is the right way for MORAL and UPRIGHT people to live. The claim that only criminals use privacy is bullshit. KYC is a liability, not a safety feature. We need privacy to protect us from these psychopaths. 2) What will happen is NOT what you *hope* will happen. Stop thinking with your *hope*. Think with your brain. 3) The world will always have HORROR happening, constantly. You cannot let that hijack your mind. Do what you can, and then if you cannot do anything more about it, put it aside. 4) LOOK OUTSIDE of your political tribe. I can't tell you how many of my friends and relatives refused to believe anything about Gaza because it came from "the left". nostr:nevent1qqsfc477980e6s4rgrmcy3lj0snhjral637y8fnxa706pv3w539eujspzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtcwwcxhw

Nostr is like sand. Grab on too tightly and it slips between your fingers. nostr:nevent1qqsqes4ytpl0mqtt4mwvra0klcf6lz66qypz8jr2pyruevfews7w0ggpzemhxue69uhhwmm59ehx7um5wgh8qctjw3uj7qgnwaehxw309amk7apww468smewdahx2tctsygzd ... ok I don't even know what that means. I'm just riffing on the "we feel strongly about it". Sometimes I just post shit.
