Institutions and governments recently have come to love the term „violent speech”. This is a deliberate Orwellian manipulation of the natural meaning of a word. Violent by its very definition is physical in nature. Words might hurt but can never injure.

I wonder if it is mere coincidence that Satoshi released the Bitcoin White Paper exactly on the day preceding the anniversary of Whitfield Diffie and Martin E. Hellman's release of their proposal for a breakthrough in cryptographic communication dated 1 November 1976, which was the first implementation of public/private key pairs for secure communication over public channels.
