I enjoy heading to evening service in a full suit-and-tie but with the unmistakable aroma of the grill and/or fire pit about me.
Life is good.
God is good.
Offense is such a trap. There is incredible freedom in forgiveness.
It's easier to do when one realizes he's not only not the 'main character,' he's not even on the screen. Such relief!
> Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, [and] for thy truth's sake.
[Psalm 115:1](https://blb.sc/003QkR), KJV
Fun fact: The guest on this podcast (Shawn Ritenour) gave a short talk on J. Gresham Machen, The "Forgotten Libertarian" at the Mises Institute back in the 80s. Audio is available somewhere on the Mises site - something like 'lunchtime seminars.'
Worth a listen.
