PSA 'Not upgrading my node' doesn't stop what gets into the blockchain to begin with. Once it's in, your node will sync it. UNLESS you also filter non-monetary stuff with datacarrier / datacarriermaxsize which is why we want to keep that option someone correct me if I've got this wrong, but that is my current understanding IMO the bigger threat is the reputational harm and 'guilt by association'
