please use a VPN when using nostr. actually, you should really be using a VPN all the time, no reason not to (even banks and stuff now have been more lenient with them) if you're an apple user, apple literally provides a free one (iCloud Private Relay) that is actually quite good. it's not technically a VPN but it does mask the IP -> site visit mapping

to my followers in JP: what does lightning adoption look like there? a) do many merchants accept lightning in big cities? b) is it easy to convert back and forth between JPY and BTC?
