Which defines it as a *Help; aid*

This perversion of the word has been caused by the Labour governments over the years, where now it is perceived you are entitled to an advantage because you are unemployed.
This is very much a Welshman's perspective.

In my younger days, I spent nearly 5 years working as a doorman, and various pubs, blabs, bars etc in and around London and home counties. I can tell you that on many a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night tolerance was definitely not on display.
