I hate it when I come up with better explanations after I sent a note. The following is an addition to something I said earlier in regards to the legacy news media platforms: The news media platforms are incentivised to wind you up so much so that you keep coming back for more , so they can sell advertising space for products you didn’t know existed, for problems you didn’t know you had , for prices designed to keep you poor!

It seems most News articles these days are just AI generated slop of running commentary of various Twitter posts

I’ve been doing it for a long time! But I still get that same tinge of excitement and pleasure when I code something I’ve never tried before or know very little about and after spending a few week’s learning a 101 ways something doesn’t work, then all of a sudden changing a few lines of code , couple of tweaks here and there , then all of a sudden it’s starts working !!! The realisation that I now know more than I did 3 weeks ago when I started. It’s awesome. You just don’t get the same vibe when developing some piece of shit corporate app to solve some waste of space business problem

Tailscale is awesome!! The ability to log into your machine on your own VPN from anywhere in the world is freaking awesome! All running on my own kit, no 3rd party , I totally control it! Big props to those guys!

From research these are the following generalised timeframes of a very typical Bitcoiners journey. O - 18/24 months after first hearing about Bitcoin to actually buying some. 24 - 30 months to start buying shitcoins and losing their initial Stack of Bitcoin 36 - 48 months to start using cold wallets and understanding self custody 48-60 months running a node & exploring lightning 60+ months to home mining etc Once you digest those , you realise just how early we are

My goals are not your goals. My risk tolerance is not your risk tolerance. My stack is not your stack. Adjust your game plan accordingly

Controversial points I know, but here are my top 3 mistakes made in Bitcoin. 1. Industrial scale mining 2. ETF’s 3. Bitcoin treasury companies I think the 4th will be strategic reserves. From my point of view these are all state capture ,
