Venezuela ‘16 due to hyperinflation everyone was exchanging their bolívares for dollars. I was exchanging bolívares for bitcoin at localbitcoins.com for me it was the best decision ever made, mostly because i couldn’t carry more than 10 thousand dollars to aboard the plane and escape the dictatorial regime. There are no dollar bank accounts in Venezuela, only in bolivars, all transactions with dollars are made in cash or using accounts outside the country, something that only a few can have, with Venezuelan identification you are automatically blacklisted from the tradicional financial world. So for me Bitcoin was not just the solution or the alternative… it was a need. I spent a lot of that and what i had left i lost it in a boat accident. Maybe today you are comfortable, but tomorrow you don't know, those who are comfortable right now will have to buy bitcoin at the price of their needs.

If you stick around long enough, you'll realize that bitcoin is the better choice and the fiat system is a ponzi scheme
