Trying to buy a house right now and it makes me realize how fucked the housing market is. Bidding wars on a very limited inventory, with rates north of 6.5%, all while wages haven't caught up with the inflation the housing market has seen. My in-laws are seeing many good, single family homes in their neighborhood get bought up by hedge funds to rent. How is this affordable for anyone? How is this sustainable? If there's a catalyst for a revolution, this housing crisis would not surprise me in the least. I don't even live in a traditionally expensive market either.

I never changed the time on my cats automatic feeder from "fall back". She's been living on permanent #DaylightSavings this whole time. Her life was not inconvenienced in anyway on Sunday. If she can do it, so can we.

I hope someday to own 1 Bitcoin, but I'm darn proud of owning more than .5. There isn't enough Bitcoin in the world for everyone to have that much and I have to remind myself constantly about what is "enough" for me and my family. I don’t think people realize just how scare Bitcoin is and how important it is to just get a little… Think about it… If you were to own .25 Bitcoin.. only 84 million people can ever own the same amount… That’s not even factoring in the illiquid supply that we currently have.

I think we should just abolish congress, keep the executive and judiciary, and allow the state legislatures to act as the sole legislatures over their respective states while the executive only keeps the power over things like foreign policy. All of congresses current powers just get transferred to the state legislatures. On issues of going to war or to check the executive, all 50 legislatures convene to vote. All legislatures would be set up in proportionality to the states overall population and be similar in structure. Maintain federalism, and checks and balances while also keeping each branches respective roles.
