I think one of the biggest things hindering Nostr's growth is "app burnout". People are tired of having to get new apps and creating ANOTHER account. And I kinda get it, the amount of usernames and passwords the average person has to manage at this point is sort of insane. Yeah Nostr could potentially become an alternative decentralized SSO but at the current state, thats how most normies see it. Just another app on the huge pile of apps filling up their phone.

Just had a technical interview with xAI. The questions they asked (no spoilers) were honestly pretty fair and kinda interesting. I took a lot of time just explaining my thought process and doing some pseudocode instead of just jumping into the implementation. Hopefully they appreciate that approach.

I applied and was accepted into Chaincode Lab's BOSS program. Super excited to meet everyone and get started. Looks like I gotta hit the Rust books.

One thing I love about nostr so far (using gossip atm) is that there is an "end" to the scrolling I can do. It reminds me of how social media was when it first hit the scene. Although I see new posts in my feed each day, I can scroll to a place that looks vaguely familiar and thats how I know I'm caught up for the day. Nostr is proving that social media without dark patterns or design decisions that intend on getting you addicted is absolutely possible.
