My problem with AI chatbots isn’t IP theft, it’s that they weren’t trained on the full treasure of human literature… but on Reddit comments about books.

Weird that we basically already have AI government. How much of today's policy and legislation is being written by ChatGPT?
Convincing my friends of AI government and fulfilling Rocko's Basilisk's prophecy.
Since using an e-ink screen I've found that I need a light theme for EVERYTHING. But some pages are only in dark mode. There are plugins that force dark mode but yet to find one for light mode lol.
However problematic "vibe coding' may be, AI has become a phenomenal learning tool at the very least. You can't just rip straight from ChatGPT's output. Much like how copying answers from the internet was just cheating yourself.
Truth > Ideology
I've been thinking lately that AI didn’t really create the content overload, it just made it undeniable. We’re at peak entertainment. Even the "classics" could fill your lifetime. I have no reason to spend money on any new entertainment. There is so much for me to catch up on already.
Just another case of closed-source, centralized apps ignoring users. Spotify fans have been asking for a light mode for over a decade which ought to be an easy feature to implement. But when control and data are locked behind corporate, centralized walls then users are powerless. Imagine if Spotify was open and decentralized, someone could’ve built it already.

Be honest: is vibe coding really a low time preference activity?
2 mile walk in 90 degree weather and then a cold shower will do something for your soul btw
it's extremely important to make your phone as boring as possible
Really dumb that I have to go through developer options to get both grayscale and eye comfort shield enabled on android.
What if you had a computer that when it became obsolete, you could just eat
Speaking of Times Square, isn't it crazy that one of our most iconic public spaces in America is like a shrine to advertisements? I'm hoping in the near future there is a movement for public beautification that is conscious of the virus that ads are. The anti "visual pollution" movement.
Love how I paid for a Smart TV just so corporations can beam ads into my living room like it’s Times Square. Actually wild that we’ve let third parties hijack the devices inside our own homes.
I like when American fashion kinda blends between aristocratic and practical. Like wearing sneakers with a suit.
Trying out an eink screen for working. Very easy on the eyes. Wish it had a bit more contrast though. Most images are completely obscured.
Isn't it crazy how much the world has shifted in just a decade or two?
"They don't understand the sh*t I say on nostr"
Andoid updated the other day and one time I unlocked my phone to see this. Wtf.
