I wish I understood the conflict in my brain. For context, I just downloaded ollama and played around with it on my local machine. I had fun, it was cool. I used Mistral-7B. It performed great, although I have a computer built for gaming.
On one hand it gives me hope and is exciting. On the other it fills me with dread because of how I feel about the effects it will have on humanity. Which, admittedly, aren't all bad but ultimately are. Just like the internet is turning out to be a net negative IMO.

In his essay On Doing the Right Thing, author Albert Jay Nock writes:
"The point is that any enlargement, good or bad, reduces the scope of individual responsibility, and thus retards and cripples the education which can be a product of nothing but the free exercise of moral judgment."
The "enlargement" is in reference to the effect of expansion of laws.

More the latter, I think.
I would love to contribute to one of these wallets, but I don't know any mobile stacks. Plus imposter syndrome.
PWAs are sweet. Generally speaking I would still prefer native apps. But PWAs are still very cool, I would like to see one that uses WASM .
One of the things I miss about where I am from is that it was a hockey town. Hockey is so underrated.
I've been using jetbrains products because of my job, it's been steadily growing on me. Whenever I do solo dev work I just nvim, but if I am honest I like having a lot of the features an IDE provides. But at the same time I feel like their is less privacy.
