More jargon I've learned about today: DLC DLC stands for Discreet Log Contacts. A simple explanation of this, as I currently understand, is it's a way for 2+ parties to exchange money based on the outcome of some event. Like a coin toss, for example. Regarding "DVMs", I'm interested to see how people–who are used to getting pretty much everything on the internet for free–adapt to having to pay for them in this way.

For anyone who is curious about the jargon of NOSTR. A "DVM" is a "Data Vending Machine". It is defined in NIP-90 (linked at the bottom) It essentially allows a marketplace for data processing to built on NOSTR. The types of services that can be built could be anything: Search, Generative AI, and more. Examples of services that are or will be "DVMs":
