In an argument with coworkers, I said equality is wanting the same protections for everyone.

it's extremely annoying trying to explain nuance to people.
Americans need our own version of "wanker".
I just said it ten times fast, but it just doesn't have the same omph as it does when spoken with an english one.
I do not like infinitely nested quote posts. I think one note depth down looks best with some sort of que that there are additional notes.
Dungeons and Dragonsstr
A NOSTR wide DND game.
The campaign never ends because DMing a game of that size will take forever, but it will be fun. Because DND is fun.

I was relating to a co-worker about the struggle of being a software developer and the notion that no one knows (or cares) what it is I do. To many a computer is just a black box that does stuff.
Then I realized this applies to many things. These days, People don't even know what their car does, it's just a horseless carriage that moves along a plane. Not that I know much more, but I do a little.
Contrast that with the people that came before us. They were so much more capable than people now. Heck, even a generation ago. My uncle rebuilt an old 1950s truck. he didn't know what the hell he was doing. He figured it out though.
We're lesser people now, myself included. And it just breaks my heart.
