It is extremely annoying that the best points I can come up with for an argument always come the day after I've had it.

I stupidly got into a political discussion at work. All I could think of Bart Simpson writing on the blackboard: KEEP YOUR OPINONS TO YOURSELF! over and over. I hope my career is not over.

Us men are so lucky. It basically takes nothing for us to experience joy. Trains, Guns, Tractors, Buffalo Chicken, Steak, Pencils. There is no end to the simple thing we can find joy in.

I know I spew a lot of bullshit and am probably very cynical for a lot of people (I am, but I'm working on it). BUT I WILL SAY THIS: I do believe that things (i.e. the state of the world) will get better eventually.

Is it me or is NOSTR a sausage fest?

One of the reasons I can stand the "the sheep are going to get enslaved" talk is: It won't be just the sheep. Some of the people around you, people who are doing their level best to remain free, will probably be captured too. A person can do everything right and still fail, can still slip up. People who talk like this, I can't see as virtuous at all. Nor heroic.

The ruling class is useful. Make the mighty righteous and we all can thrive.
