Today is brewing day at #Brauzeugen’s. This means also drinking. But this Pils here is a bit foamy, so it’s important to remember: Foam always becomes beer again. image

I’m fascinated by commuter efficiency optimising. Entering the train at the right spot so that when changing trains you have the shortest way to the shop. In the shop selecting what you want fast, self-checkout lane, and hopping onto the next train.

Today I learned that this doesn’t raise in Ruby: a = { b: a } What the heck, why?

TIL: Every Swiss community has to provide its citizens with a gun range so that they can shoot out their federal army fitness. So in practice the communes pay 75-100% of all gun club activities. Wonder how many Swiss know this.

Why don’t we have the old Italian man looking at things here in #Switzerland? I miss the simple things. Everyone seems to mind their own business. WHY ACTUALLY?

Spam fighting idea for nostr: After key generation you can attach a locality to your keys. It’s an effort-to-reach distance reflecting geographic proximity in the real world. Writing to a distant key is more probably spam than writing one closely to you. Twist: you can move your key closer to an other region, but then you cannot reach the previous region as easily anymore. This moving event would be published as a note to relays. This could be a relative spam score where you need to compromise your reach by choosing a region.
