Idea for a social network: You can only follow elected or to be elected politicians. A follow means that you get a note stream from them about their speech and action collected by the platform. The politicians don‘t have to be on the platform (but can). An unfollow means that you are tired of their BS. When election day comes, you can have a look at who you follow (and maybe whom your peers follow). The left-overs may be suitable candidates to actually elect.

Why @GitCitadel ? Isn‘t Git about the bazaar? Or did I mix up something?

Do (you) bitcoiners pick up trash from the sidewalk if you see some? Taking on local responsibilities. Would only be consequential to not delegate street hygiene to the admin apparatus, no?

@fiatjaf Would it be feasible and useful to attach sats to a note directly? Like a penny-post, the first relay seeing it could collect it. (besides the fact that you don‘t like lightning)

I started to realize that unconscieniously I prefer paying mortgage interest rate to a bank because it saves me taxes. That‘s nonsense of course: spending much to save little.
