The First Direct Current User (that's not me)! Check him out!
Brandon Scott Coleman
Trust Fall Β· Album | Brandon Scott Coleman
Trust Fall by Brandon Coleman Trio: digital download, $10.
Brandon is a good friend of mine and is touring India here shortly. He's not a bitcoiner, but is one of my favorite musicians and a really standup guy. When I heard about his upcoming gigs in India, I mentioned that I've made a way for artists to accept payments directly from anywhere in the world in a censorship resistant way without a middleman. So he's now using Direct Current to accept payments! If you want to preview the record, all of the tracks are listenable a few times for free per IP address on bandcamp: [https://brandoncoleman.bandcamp.com/album/trust-fall](https://brandoncoleman.bandcamp.com/album/trust-fall) https://stacker.news/items/1540124

 Have you guys seen this yet?! Can anyone explain to me like I'm five how this works? I'm kind of shocked how little is in the encoding.ts file. Here's one of my seed phrases for you to decode: πŸ’―σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …žσ „σ …’σ …‘σ …“σ …Ÿσ …ž Have fun getting rich! CBS confirmed ransom note for Nancy Guthrie with key details https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/arizona-breaking/2026/02/03/nancy-guthrie-ransom-notes-reports-what-to-know/88498884007/ This sounds really tragic. It's interesting to me that they say that they're looking for help, but no one is sharing the kidnappers' demand address. It seem to me that this would make it possible for the whole world to be help out. I can also see a scenario where that might put the hostage in danger. I don't presume to be even close to an expert in law enforcement, but law enforcement also hasn't proven to be the best at investigating on-chain. In the meantime, we can pray for the victim and family. https://stacker.news/items/1426391

Snowflake
Snowflake
I don't hear much from the bitcoin/nostr/freedomtech movement about Snowflake. Maybe I'm missing something that's not quite right which more technical folks than myself can explain. Maybe it's just not on a lot of people's radar. Maybe it is discussed, but I just haven't noticed. Anyway, what is everyone's opinion on Snowflake? Am I missing something or is it low hanging fruit for helping to curb global censorship? https://stacker.news/items/1420318

Why didn't I think of this very cool educational resource!? I just found this today (there was a link to it on Barefoot Mining's website, not sure if they made it or not) and had to share. Since I'm posting in the beginner territory, make sure to ask questions if you don't understand what's going on here. originally posted at https://stacker.news/items/650951
