It's my last day off. Part of me wants to not get too far from the house. Do the usual chores. Stay inside this afternoon, admire the dog and cats curled up in their nap spots, and maybe take one myself. Tomorrow it's iback to the mail trail. Over a hundred miles of moving mail and packages. Bought some Bitcoin at 68K this morning. It's way down in price. Part of my attraction to Bitcoin, I think, is that it's way bigger than me or anyone else. GM🔥 I bought my mom some cheddar horseradish cheese spread the other day. I'm in town 5 days a week to sort mail and packages, then bring them 15 miles back out here to Springbrook to deliver them. After work I usually go to the grocery store to pick up things our family or my mom needs. It saves on trips to town. in other words ttime and money. When I walked through the door to my mom's house I noticed had a five and three ones sitting on the counter. When she went to hand them to me I asked her if she could pay me in Bitcoin instead. She hesitated at first, then said sure. So I went back out to my mail jeep to get my phone. When I returned we figured out how many Sats it would be, roughly 11 thousand. There's 100 million of them in a Bitcoin. She punched it into her phone and hit send. In a blink of an eye my @strike app notified me that I received it. I wondered if it would be that fast if somebody from Zimbabwe sent me Sats. People often ask me what Bitcoin is. Sometimes I say digital gold. That's just one aspect to it though. I don't think you really understand what it is until you use it like my Mom and I did. It's revolutionary. It's like having one foot in this world and the other in the world to come.
