GM. Tuesday. In front of morning fire 142. Back to the mail trail today. Anxious about the world, the day, taxes. . . the unknown. I can tell you what happened with our taxes in a nutshell. They're complicated enough, right? When you sell Bitcoin to pay your bills it really complicates it. We are unable to file right now. We are giving ourselves 5 weeks to figure it out. My neighbor fixed my red jeep yesterday afternoon. It was a worn wire shorting and causing the engine to misfire. It only took him a half hour. I thought it was going to be a days work and 500 to 1000 dollars coming out of my check. He only charged me 20 bucks! Thankful for good neighbors. That's it for now. GM. In front of fire 139. Still the first burning. One more, then it's off to the mail trail. My fifth and final day. Then it's two days off with family and place. We get our taxes done on Monday. Not looking forward to it. We've sold Bitcoin. Liquidated life insurance. Run a small business. I work for a wage full time. Children at home. A lot of paperwork and unnecessary complication. The tax system could be simpler. Tuesday is the Full (Worm) Moon. Didn't sleep well last night. Usually a good indicator there's a Full or New moon on the horizon. Plus the jeep I usually run is down. It's misfiring. Probably something electrical. Computerized cars nowadays. So I have to run one of our spare older mail vehicles today. Anxious. Nothing I haven't been through before though. Been delivering mail for 17 years. 14 of them "on call" as a substitute. Been through some scenarios. I'm going to go now. Gonna read some Jacob Needleman thoughts on money and consciousness. A podcaster got a hold of me and wants to interview me about our family's journey into Bitcoin. So I'm reflecting on why we're into Bitcoin. I don't know if I'm going to do it yet. Last year a different podcaster got of hold of me to interview me about our native plant nursery and how it benefits our community. I never committed. I bought some Bitcoin this morning, like I do every morning. It makes going to work more worth it. There's other incentives of course. My family, land, etc. A lot of people in my world tell me "there's nothing there" with Bitcoin. "What is it!?" They ask. I can never explain in the time I have facing another individual. All I try to say is buy 10 to 20 dollars worth and watch it. What have you got to lose? I am closing in on my 4th year buying it. This July I will have crossed 4 year threshold. You're considered an investor if you make it that long. It's way down from last year. I just read that in my journal. Yet my conviction hasn't waned. I just keep working and buying. I think I might understand why: Bitcoin is teaching me something about myself. It's way bigger than what I hold. The Bitcoin network has something to teach humanity, I think.
