i don’t think saifedean is on here to share it himself: this was an illuminating discussion about how most of the order and around us can already be attributed to private governance by the market as opposed to agents of the state

with lightning, ordinals/inscriptions, taro, and nostr, there is almost no “use case” for web3 that hasn’t been dismantled. this isn’t to say i endorse all of those uses or find them valuable, just that there aren’t even bad use cases left to be building anywhere else.

highly recommend this episode of nostrovia with #[0]​ the discussion of nostr and ties to the early days of the internet was interesting to me as i wasn’t online until the mid-90s and too young to understand it all
