Celebrating Independence Day with the neighbors. Safe and sane.
Funny story, all of the neighboring towns ban fireworks. We are only able to have fireworks in our small town because the founder of Fisher Investments threatened to move their corporate headquarters if the city banned banned them.

If not only in Japan, then I don’t know where else you can leave your bike unlocked an unattended on the public sidewalk. It’s like this all over Tokyo. You wouldn’t want to try that in San Francisco or Portland.
