Just returned from a call, I don’t thing they teach defensive driving any more. But the offensive driving course seems to be going strong. Yeah the big red truck with flashing lights and siren means pull right. Not pull left and slam on the breaks. #EMSlife

Rural EMS vs Suburban EMS Rural, farmer gets run over by tractor, fractured femur, finished chores, can’t work the clutch, apologizes for calling SU, adult drops object on foot. It hurts with no visual injury can hold weight, insists we carry down stairs and pack a bag for them. #EMSlife

Every paycheck i put $25 in an envelope. Oneceva month i stop by the coin shop and buy a coin and put the change back in the envelope. Sometimes i have enough to buy two! This happens aboit three times a year now. #silver

Tonight’s #EMSLife WTF call: middle age person calling at 9pm (2100) to have their urinary catheter changed Had skipped their doc appointment today Got mad we would not do it, that we only go to the Emergency Department (and don’t bring them back home) Left them cussing out us and the Triage nurse in the ED crowded waiting area.

Have a friend who works for metro Gov. She is looking forward to the overtime tax exemption. Since what low level employees are paid is public information here is how the new exemption helps her. Last year she was paying $10,100. Under the new plan, just $6,200. That’s a $4k pay hike #BBB

Am sad to hear the Jim Shooter has passed. I had the privilege of being a runner for him at several appearances in Ithaca NY in the 80’s and 90’s. Always enjoyed it. He was a funny, happy guest. Loved his work and had great talks with him. He always remembered me when I would see him at shows.

last week they paid the semi annual dividend and it was more than that months bill
Every month my investment money ($55 a paycheck) gets divided among stocks
I’m resisting focusing on just it to x12 it

Happy day. I bought stock in the utility company that I use. This week they announced their dividend payment. I’m getting one months of electric cost in dividend payment. Guess I need to 12x my holdings. #Money #Dividens

Well I’m happy! Just paid off a monthly bill of $90. This will be $60 directed at the next debt, and $30 to my daily sat buy. As @Jack Spirko says DCA is the way #dca365
